Release
US Consumer Protection (USCP) is a private organization committed
to providing individuals with information on their legal
rights as consumers and to offer protection from fraudulent business practices.
Our staff of experts are fully trained in the field of consumer
law and are available to assist consumers in settling business
disputes to their satisfaction. In addition, we also provide businesses
with guidance and direction on consumer law, policy and regulations
and an opportunity to drive consumers to their businesses.
About the Founder
The Founder and CEO of USCP, Mr. Frank Del Vecchio, began his career in
law enforcement over twenty years ago. He rose through the ranks
and in 2003 became the Director of Public Safety for the County
of Bergen, State of New Jersey. As the Director of Public Safety,
Mr. Del Vecchio understood the need for businesses to be held
accountable and understood the hardships created when businesses
victimized consumers. He worked and developed a plan to reshape
consumer protection in Bergen County and completely streamline
the Division of Consumer Protection, while expanding the authority
of the division. Under his leadership the division grew and consumers
began to see concrete results with the largest amount of money
being refunded to consumers in the history of the county. In addition,
the Division of Consumer Protection became the Bergen County Division
of Consumer Affairs which became an enforcement branch of government
allowed to enforce the provisions of the Consumer Fraud Act sending
investigators into the field to uncover bad business practices
and protect consumers.
Mr. Del Vecchio understands first hand the importance of having
a strong consumer advocate who not only protects consumers but
highlights the reputable businesses that have a commitment to
doing the right thing. In 2005, Mr. Del Vecchio resigned from
his position as Director of Public Safety to pursue other career
opportunities. Mr. Del Vecchio decided that there is a need to
work with consumers and businesses that have solid reputations,
smart policies and practice good business, hence the launch of
US Consumer Protection, LLC. USPC is a company that consumers
can count on and turn to when they are victimized by bad business.
Reputable businesses can turn to USCP for advice and assistance
as well. There is a strong need to protect the rights of consumers
and he hopes that you will join the USCP mission.
